Intern – Process Engineering (m/f/d)

Manufacturing Engineering | Rheinfelden, Germany | Full-time | 6 Months | Start: August 2026

OSYPKA GmbH is a leading MedTech company specializing in cardiology, active implants, catheters, and CDMO services. Our life-critical medical devices are used in hospitals worldwide. We are looking for a motivated Master's student to join our Manufacturing Engineering team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Tasks

Your Mission

Drive process improvements for Balloon Catheters (VACS) and Implantable Pulse Generators (IPG) while gaining hands-on experience in a highly regulated MedTech environment. Your work will directly impact product quality, process stability, and manufacturing performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify optimization opportunities
  • Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methods
  • Support the implementation and validation of process improvements
  • Assist with process documentation in accordance with ISO 13485
  • Participate in process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Present findings and recommendations to the engineering team

Requirements

  • Master's student in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods is an advantage
  • Hands-on mindset and interest in manufacturing environments
  • Good English skills and basic German proficiency
