Student assistant (40 hours per month)

Your responsibility

Support with laboratory practicals in the department in the modules Mess- und betriebstechnische Übungen für Energietechnik #30068, Arbeitsmaschinen und Kälteanlagen #30129, Kraftmaschinen und Kraftanlagen #30132, Blockheizkraftwerk (a) #30658 und Blockheizkraftwerk (b) #30659:

  • Support with maintenance, operation and further development of the
    test benches (30%)
  • Support of practical experiments (20%)
  • Collaboration in the correction of protocols (20%)
  • Organisation via the ISIS learning platform (30%)

Your profile

Must criteria:

  • Good knowledge of how various machines and systems work (pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, motors, generators, heat pumps,
    refrigeration systems)
  • Experience with measurement technology
  • Experience with data acquisition and control systems
  • The ability to teach in German and/or English is required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills

Can criteria:

  • Analytical and creative work and organizational skills
  • Teaching skills and ability to work independently, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and LaTeX
