Your responsibility

Collaboration in subproject A07 ‘Natural Spaces: Conflicts over Botanical Knowledge using the Example of (Trans)Atlantic Forests’ of the Collaborative Research Centre ‘Re-Figuration of Spaces’ (CRC 1265):

  • Support in the preparation and follow-up of case study research in Great Britain and Brazil (30%)
  • Support in the implementation of visual methods (30%)
  • Support in the preparation of scientific events (20%)
  • Literature research (20%)

Your profile

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of architecture, urban studies or urbanism
  • Good German and/or English skills required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills
  • Ability to conduct text and research work
  • Ability to conduct scientific work
  • Basic knowledge of visual methods of spatial research (mapping)
  • Confident use of MS Office programmes

Nice to have:

  • Initial experience of working on an interdisciplinary research project
  • Basic written and spoken Portuguese
  • Basic knowledge of visualisation and drawing programmes
  • Organisational skills, independence and ability to work in a team
