About us
The A-SWARM II project is developing an autonomous, emission-free transport system that uses waterways to relieve urban road traffic. Goods are transported into the city by ship and distributed to decentralised hubs via smaller, electric, autonomous units.
Your responsibility
- Investigation of possible user concepts
- Potential users
- Consideration of pre- and post-transport
- Transhipment solutions
- Required infrastructure
- Legal framework - Design, layout and integration of an energy system
- Energy considerations for the routes
- Energy supply during operation
- Charging infrastructure - Route planning and vehicle availability
- Integration of logistical processes into the monitoring platform - Documentation of work
Your profile
- successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in the field of marine and ocean engineering, transport or logistics (or comparable), in particular with knowledge in the following areas:Transport planning and energy and propulsion systems
- Knowledge of CAD and simulation software
- Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills
- Excellent teamwork skills, commitment, flexibility, economic thinking desirable
- Ability to document technical and economic issues is a plus
- Basic understanding of the legal framework in the transport or waterway sector desired
- Ability to manage student assistants desirable
