Student researcher in climate and health (m/f/d)

The positions are initially funded for 12 months from the beginning of the contract. The remuneration is determined according to the guidelines of the TdL. The current hourly rate for a student assistant with a Bachelor's degree is 14,59 € (without a Bachelor's degree 13,98 €). These are part-time positions with a weekly working time of up to 20 hours per week.

Tasks

Key responsibilities:

  • data extraction from policy/project evaluation reports and/or scientific documents
  • critical assessment of document’s quality/methods
  • annotation of causal links from scientific and policy documents
  • discussions of extracted information with the team

Requirements

You are a Bachelor or Master student, enrolled at a German university, and ideally meet the following requirements:

  • background in environmental science, geography, computer science, quantitative social or political science, physics, ecology, economics, or related fields
  • general knowledge of climate research
  • ability to solve problems in a scientific context using data
  • previous experience in climate or development research is an asset
