ANTON is a learning platform for schools based in Berlin, enabling children to learn independently and have fun. ANTON is available for free and without ads for all year groups and curriculum subjects. We are looking for people with excellent British English language skills from all disciplines who would like to support us in creating educational content for the UK version of ANTON.

Working Student (f/m/d): Creating Digital Learning Content (UK)

This position is for a part-time role for students enrolled at a German university.

Tasks

  • Creating new educational content for some of the following subjects: English, maths, science, computing, EAL, geography, history, music and PSHE
  • Creating visual elements to facilitate understanding for all learners
  • Critically reviewing and contributing to the work of others in the team
  • Translating existing educational content into British English from (US English and/or German)
  • Testing, editing and improving existing educational content

Requirements

  • Enrolled at a German university for at least another 12 months
  • Excellent British English language skills in spelling and grammar
  • Sound knowledge of the school curriculum in England
  • An interest in digital education, pedagogy, alternative learning and teaching concepts
  • Good German skills
  • Creativity, reliability, attention to detail, an independent and thorough approach to work
  • Good IT skills and a desire to familiarise yourself with a new programme and tools
  • Preferably: experience in teaching and tutoring children
