Student assistant (40 hours per month)

Tasks

We are looking for team-oriented students to join our diverse and international team. The tasks are:

  • Statistical analysis, database queries and data extraction within the research project German Standards Panel (30%)
  • Scientific literature and database research (in German and English) (30%)
  • Support in the writing of scientific texts and the creation of presentations and graphics in German and English (20%)
  • Support in the development, implementation and management of web-based surveys (10%)
  • Support of the national and international research project including the maintenance of the project website (10%)

Requirements

Must:

  • good knowledge of empirical research and interdisciplinary issues in the context of innovation economics
  • good knowledge in MS Office programs
  • good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills

Can:

  • accurate and independent work, high reliability and very good communication skills
  • very good knowledge of Excel and (initial) experience in working with data sets
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • first programming experience
