Student assistant (40 hours per month)

Tasks

Context:
Participation in the EU-funded project Reincarnate with the goal of developing digital solutions to enable circular planning and reduce waste in the construction industry. You will support the research activities of this large-scale EU-funded project conducted by TU Berlin.

We particularly expect the candidate to support the development of meaningful use cases for circular innovations, with a focus on information flow and exchange. Part of the work involves developing a connected, graph-based database of the project’s documented use cases.

Creating Building Information Models (BIM) for the demonstration projects (25%)
Supporting sensor installation and data collection at demonstration sites across Europe (25%)
Analyzing data from the demonstration projects (25%)
Supporting the communication of demonstration results using a graph database (25%)

Requirements

Must:

  • Excellent English skills in speaking and writing
  • Knowledge in software development

Can:

  • In-depth knowledge in Building Information Modeling and Digital Building Twins
  • Skills in developing process maps
  • Knowledge of graph-based databases
