Tasks
- independent research in the field of public economics with methods from microeconomics and/or behavioral/experimental economics
- independent organization and implementation of teaching courses as well as supervision of Bachelor´s and Master´s theses
- supporting the chair in research and teaching as well as the acquisition of third-party funding projects
- application for and engagement in the „Research Associates Program“ of the „Berlin School of Economics“ is welcome and supported (https://berlinschoolofeconomics.de/)

Requirements
- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Economics or equivalent courses of study
- PhD in the field of public economics or related areas
- very good knowledge of the methods used in microeconomics and/or behavioral/experimental economics
- experience in organizing and delivering teaching courses
- ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
Desirable:
- experience and interest in one or more of the following subfields of public economics: social preferences, environmental and resource economics, regulation and taxation (e.g., of artificial intelligence), and health economics
- high level of independence and commitment
