Technische Universität Berlin
NewTendermint GmbH Gno.land Gno.land

We’re building Gno.land, set to become the leading open-source smart contract platform, using Gno, an interpreted and fully deterministic variation of the Go programming language for succinct and composable smart contracts.

With transparent and timeless code, Gno.land is the next generation of smart contract platforms, serving as the “GitHub” of the ecosystem, with realms built using fully transparent, auditable code that anyone can inspect and reuse.

Intuitive and easy to use, Gno.land lowers the barrier to web3 and makes censorship-resistant platforms accessible to everyone. If you want to help lay the foundations of a fairer and freer world, join us today. https://github.com/gnolang/gno

Build the Future: Open, Transparent, and Decentralized.

Learn, explore, and build the future of a decentralized smart contract based platform.

Tasks

We're inviting curious minded computer science students and recent graduates with an interest in Web3, smart contracts, and language development to join an exploratory cohort ranging from 3 to 5 months.

This is a hands-on opportunity to dive into an actively developing open-source project with guidance from a team of experienced engineers, but also with the freedom to explore. We’ll provide onboarding support, host weekly syncs, and offer feedback on contributions, but we’re looking for self-directed individuals who can identify areas of interest, propose ideas, and dive deep with curiosity. It's important to have a strong approach for communication as the team works remotely. We strongly encourage a peer review approach to pull requests and contributions to learn together and improve the work.

Strong contributors after the cohort may have the opportunity to submit their own project proposals and continue collaborating beyond the initial experience. We are also looking for local ambassadors who complete the program and are interested in engaging and onboarding new student contributors.

Requirements

Studying (or studied) computer science, with a basic understanding of the Go programming language as well as familiarity with a low level programming language will be a major advantage.

What we offer

We offer a competitive stipend, an opportunity to work closely with a senior open-source enginnering team, and the freedom to explore and make an impact in open-source development.
