CASUS is looking for a
Project Manager SAXFUSION - Saxonian Fusion Competence Network (f/m/d).
You will coordinate the build up, operation and continuation of the Saxonian Fusion Competence Network, SAXFUSION. As the lead of a dedicated team you will we responsible for the daily operation of the network. This includes a close cooperation with all network partners, building up and expanding the network, communication with the funding agencies including reporting and acting as the central point of contact of the network.
Tasks
- Build-up, operation and continuation of the SAXFUSION network
- Management of the SAXFUSION project including reporting
- Leading the SAXFUSION project team
- Communicating with network partners and stake holders from science, industry, politics, society, press and funding agencies
- Representing the SAXFUSION network as the central point of contact
Requirements
- Completed university of applied sciences or university degree (Master/Diploma) in the field of Physics or related field
- Project management, experience wit regard to managing fusion projects or consortia preferred, personnel management and strategic and financial planing, reporting
- Scientific understanding of fundamental physical processes, specifically in the area of fusion
- Experience in build-up and coordination of networks of scientific institutions and industry partners
- Transfer of scientific results to industry and society
- Leadership and capacity for teamwork
- Professional communication with stakeholders from science, industry, polictics, society and press
- Professional conduct in a complex environment of stakeholders from science, industry, polictics, society and press
- Microsoft Office, project management software, cost management software, SAP, Social Media
- Business fluent German and English
