Student assistant position AdJUST (m/f/d)

Tasks

  • support with cleaning data and preparing econometric analyses.
  • synthesizing findings from the academic literature around just transitions, the Green New Deal, and inclusive green growth (including governance strate-gies, public perception, media discourses, and political economy aspects).
  • reviewing and collecting literature and data on socioeconomic barriers and enablers of the energy transition and climate policy (incl. EU-CBAM)

Requirements

You are a Bachelor or Master student, enrolled at a German university, and ide-ally meet the following requirements:

  • familiarity and competency conducting literature reviews in the social scienc-es (economics, political science, sociology, etc.)
  • knowledge of R and/or Python for conducting econometric analysis or text analysis (or an interest in learning)
  • experience conducting development or climate policy research in the Global South
  • knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia can be an asset
  • can have a physical presence at our office in Berlin
