Software Engineer Working Student/Intern

Taktile is a high-growth series B start-up, on a fast trajectory to becoming a market leader in the field of automated decision-making. We are looking for Computer Science students with a passion for distributed systems who want to turbocharge their career. If you’re ambitious, have strong engineering fundamentals, and want to grow as a software engineer, then this role is for you!

Tasks

Depending on your final team, either work on backend components written in Python / FastAPI, hosted on an AWS serverless architecture, or work on React/Typescript front-end components, or a combination of both!

Engage actively in team rituals such as daily syncs, planning sessions, demos, and technical deep-dive discussions.

Grow as an individual and accelerate your career by learning from our experienced team, contributing to a foundational layer of the product, and joining cross-team learning groups.

Requirements

Taktile is a hybrid company with our Berlin HQ in Germany. Taktile will not cover relocation services for this role.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication.

Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity and precision.

Fantastic Computer Science fundamentals. Data structures, algorithms, networking, distributed systems, databases and everything in between!

You are a student looking for an internship/working student position OR you're about to graduate and are looking for an internship.

IDEAL, BUT NOT REQUIRED: Exposure to AWS, especially Lambda; Experience with frontend development - React or similar frameworks.
